The Barn XL (mod118uk) is the largest home in Baufritz's barn series, at 519 m² across two full storeys plus a loft space. The steep-pitched roof and vertical timber cladding maintain the barn aesthetic at a scale that few other manufacturers attempt, and the spatial volume this creates internally (soaring ceilings, double-height spaces, abundant natural light) is a genuine selling point.
Eight bedrooms in 519 m² produces more generous individual room sizes than some of the tighter-ratio models elsewhere in the range. Baufritz's patented wood shaving insulation and triple glazing are standard, alongside advanced sound protection and climate control. Chemical-free, allergy-friendly materials are used throughout, and extensive covered outdoor areas are part of the design.
