The Barn XL (mod119uk) is a second configuration of Baufritz's largest barn series model, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms across the same 519 m² footprint as the mod118uk variant. Where the first variant spreads eight bedrooms across the plan, this configuration concentrates fewer, larger rooms with a higher en-suite ratio.
The steep-pitched barn roof, dark timber cladding, and double-height open-plan interiors are consistent across both variants. Baufritz's patented wood shaving insulation and triple glazing are standard, with eco-friendly, chemical-free materials throughout. Optional solar and renewable energy systems are available, and large triple-glazed windows ensure abundant natural light despite the substantial roof overhangs.
