The Konzepthaus Haussicht is one of Baufritz's concept homes, designed explicitly around views and natural light rather than starting from a standard domestic brief. The flat roof and expansive panoramic windows push the relationship between interior and exterior as far as the timber frame system allows, and the terraces continue that logic into the outdoor space. It reads as a considered piece of architecture rather than a catalogue option.
Ecological timber frame construction applies throughout, with Baufritz's wood shaving insulation and a smart energy management system included. The two-level layout is configured for open-plan living with strong light throughout. Customisation of the interior is available, and the company provides full planning support.
At 200 m² it is compact relative to some Baufritz models, but the ambition of the design makes good use of the footprint.
What We Love
The Konzepthaus Haussicht is one of the few Baufritz designs where the architecture is genuinely organised around its relationship with the landscape rather than treating glazing as a secondary feature.
