The Treehouse is one of the most site-specific designs in the Baufritz range. It is built specifically for sloping or wooded sites, with a multi-level layout that steps with the terrain and a floating design featuring dramatic cantilevers that give it a genuinely unusual presence among the trees. Treetop views are a deliberate design objective, and the floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple terraces and balconies are arranged to deliver them.
At 149 m², it is a mid-sized home with three bedrooms, built on an ecological timber frame with Baufritz's patented wood shaving insulation and triple glazing. Chemical-free materials and superior air quality standards are standard across the range.
The specialised foundation system that accommodates sloped sites is an engineering detail worth noting: it is not simply an aesthetic choice but a structural response to challenging terrain. For buyers with hillside or woodland plots, the Treehouse is one of the few prefab designs that actually addresses the site rather than ignoring it.
