Treehouse
About This Home
Baufritz has been building ecological timber homes since 1896, and the Treehouse is one of their most characterful models. The elevated design and multiple levels create a home that genuinely engages with its site in a way that a standard two-storey layout cannot. At just under 150 m² across multiple levels, the design accommodates four bedrooms with a strong emphasis on views and natural light through large-format windows.
The ecological timber frame uses Baufritz's proprietary wood shaving insulation throughout, with the elevated foundation system adding a further layer of considered engineering. Multiple terraces and outdoor living spaces are integrated into the design rather than added as afterthoughts. Home automation is available within the specification.
The Treehouse is a strong choice for buyers with an interesting site, particularly plots with elevation changes, woodland settings, or where views are worth capturing. It's a model where the architecture is working with the site rather than just sitting on it. Layouts and finishes are customisable. German standards apply; UK compliance is confirmed project by project.
What We Love
The Treehouse is built for sites with character: the elevated structure, multiple terraces, and strong orientation towards views make it one of the few Baufritz models that genuinely earns its name.
