HUF HAUS has been building post-and-beam timber frame homes in Germany since 1912. The ART 6 Sample 7 is a two-storey example from their ART series: a gabled roof, extensive glazing, and the exposed structural timber frame that has been central to their design language for over a century. At just over 226 m², the proportions are well suited to a family of four with some room to spare.
The post-and-beam system is the defining feature of all HUF HAUS homes. The exposed timber structure is not decorative: it carries load, shapes the interior volumes, and determines where the glazing can go. Triple glazing and high-performance thermal insulation are standard across the range, and smart home integration is available. Sustainable certified materials are used throughout.
