About This Home
The R2 is the second iteration of Rural House's contemporary rural range, doubling the footprint of the R1 to 108.1 m² while retaining the same clean-lined modern approach. Like the R1 it can be built across one or two storeys, which gives it real flexibility for sites with limited ground coverage but no height restrictions. The refined exterior and improved layout make it a comfortable size for family use.
Construction follows the same Scottish building regulation-compliant approach as the rest of the Rural House range, with modern insulation, glazing, and standard utilities. Finishes and internal configurations can be customised, which matters at this size. A home over 100 m² with no character options would feel like a missed opportunity.
What We Love
At 108.1 m² with a one or two storey option, the R2 gives serious flexibility on constrained rural plots where footprint is limited but the brief calls for family-scale space.
